COLLECTIVE THREADS: ANNA ANDREEVA AT THE RED ROSE SILK FACTORY
This is the world’s first retrospective exhibition on the life and work of Anna Andreeva (1917–2008), the Soviet textile designer who worked in the design collective of the Red Rose Silk Factory in Moscow from the 1940s to the 1980s.
Among the exhibited works is 1/2 of the Moon, 1961, from the Stadler Collection.

Works by Phyllida Barlow, Geta Brătescu, Toulu Hassani, Lena Henke, Michaela Melián, and Karin Sander from the Stadler Collection will be included in the exhibition.

WE WILL GO RIGHT UP TO THE SUN. FEMALE PIONEERS OF GEOMETRIC ABSTRACTION
With this exhibition, the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum is focusing on the importance of female artists for the development of geometric abstraction in the 20th century. Two important figures in this movement are Anna Andreeva and Vera Molnár. Works by both artists from the collection will be on display.

MARY HEILMANN
Mary Heilmann is one of the leading figures in contemporary abstract painting. This exhibition spans her impressive sixty-year career, showcasing pieces from her initial geometric works of the 1970s to her latest shaped canvases in vivid fluorescent colours. Featuring sixty works, the exhibition captures the joyful energy of her art and provides a thorough perspective on her playful approach to abstraction. Included in the exhibition is Wavey, 2013 from the Stadler Collection.

THE WORLD IN MY HAND
Nearly two decades after the revolutionary technological development of the smartphone, the exhibition explores its impact on contemporary art. In the BlackBox, around 50 artworks by 35 different artists are presented, predominantly consisting of glass sculptures and contemporary photographs. Among the exhibited works is also the piece iPhone 09.01.2007, 2017 by Brigitte Kowanz from the Stadler Collection.

24! QUESTIONS FOR THE CONCRETE PRESENT
The exhibition at the MKK explores the origins, present and future of Concrete Art. The term was first formulated 100 years ago. This anniversary provides an opportunity to ask today's generation of young artists who are stylistically close to this movement about their relationship to Concrete Art. Among the 12 selected positions is the artist Toulu Hassani. Two of her works from the Stadler Collection will be on display.

Textiles and Ceramics in Contemporary Art
On display are works by around 40 Austrian and international artists who use craft techniques such as embroidery, knotting, and weaving, as well as sculpting, wedging, and firing in their artistic practice. Also on display are four works by Russian textile designer Anna Andreeva, including Exercise with Northern Embroideries, 1979 from the Stadler Collection

RESETNOW! - WOMEN ARTISTS BETWEEN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ART
Under the title resetNOW!, the Künstlerverbund at Haus der Kunst is dedicating the 6th Biennale 2023 exclusively to women artists for the first time: artists whose works are situated at the intersection of science, technology, and art.

GETA BRĂTESCU
DRAWING AS A DANCE
Geta Brătescu (1926–2018) is now considered the grand dame of the Eastern European avant-garde. Since designing the Romanian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2017 at the age of 91, she has become known beyond just a specialized audience. The exhibition, which highlights her 70-year-spanning oeuvre, showcases all of Geta Brătescu’s works from the Stadler collection.
